Our Autopilot Rollout: The Results Are In
Three and a half months ago, we started building something that had never been built before: the world's first fully agentic marketer. Today, I'm excited to share the results from our initial rollout of Blaze Autopilot—and what we've learned about launching a product with no market precedent.
The numbers tell an incredible story, but the real insights come from how our customers are actually using this technology. Here's everything we've discovered.
By the Numbers: Better Than We Dreamed
Since starting technical development 3.5 months ago, the results have exceeded our wildest expectations:
As of 7/30:
158 trial users onboarded since opening to our first cohort on July 9
53% DAU/WAU ratio—nearly 2x that of Copilot
53% conversion rate from trial to paid via our opt-in freemium model
Over 50% of users are buying multi-month plans
3x+ LTV compared to Copilot
4+ LTV/CAC ratio assuming we maintain our current acquisition costs
But here's what gets me most excited: we have more major growth coming as we deploy features around ads, GEO, and video and raise prices commensurate with the traffic we produce for our customers. This isn't just a successful product launch—it's validation of an entirely new market category.
The Rollout Strategy: Start Small, Move Fast
When you're building something that's never existed before, your rollout strategy becomes your product validation strategy. Speed and quality are hallmarks of our team's execution, and Autopilot has been one of our fastest projects to date.
We started opening up Autopilot to existing customers in June, with 31 beta users who really love our Copilot product and have collaborated with us before. Then on July 9, we opened Autopilot to net new users via scheduled onboardings to get an unbiased read on conversion and retention.
Over the next few weeks, we'll begin testing self-serve registration to new customers and start moving our Copilot customers over en masse, before making Autopilot our default experience in September.
What Makes Autopilot Different: Fixing Fundamental Problems
As the next-gen version of Blaze, Autopilot fixes fundamental weaknesses in Copilot that affected retention, reinforced by over a year of customer feedback. The differences are stark:
Where Copilot had basic personalization (voice, colors, logos), Autopilot has sophisticated personalization that confirms information about your products and customers, suggests better colors, and outlines content topics to make your content truly authentic.

Where Copilot had 100+ content options that were hard to discover, Autopilot produces consistent, integrated content on three main channels: social media, email, SEO.

Where Copilot required you to manage wizards and workflows to get content, Autopilot has fully automated generation with 50+ pieces of content created for you every week.

Most importantly, where Copilot had no AI learning, Autopilot has learning loops that continually improve content based on their performance in market and your edits to them.

The LTV Story: Quality Commands Premium
The most exciting result to us isn't just the 53% conversion rate—it's that over half of our converting users are choosing multi-month plans compared to just 10% of Copilot subscribers. When people see what Autopilot can do, they don't just want to try it for a month. They want to commit.

At nearly 3x our Copilot LTV, Autopilot proves that when you solve a real problem in a fundamentally better way, customers will pay premium prices. And this is just the beginning.
Customer Feedback: They're Not Just Happy—They're Surprised
The testimonials we're getting show something remarkable—customers aren't just satisfied, they're genuinely surprised by the quality:
A nurse practitioner told us: "I really wasn't expecting to be this happy with it."
A digital marketer said: "It would have taken me 2.5 days to create that image."
A financial services advisor shared: "I mean, I won't tell you it's a 10, but it is definitely an 8. Like, this is way better than I would have expected it to be able to generate for me on a basis like this cause I've done generative AI stuff and I know how it comes out most often. So it looks like you guys have really nailed this down."
A security company reported: "Just looking at the stats on Facebook, in one week, you know, the percentage impressions have increased 1800%."
What's Coming Next: The Full Marketing Suite
Through August and September, we're releasing the next wave of first-in-class features that are most requested by our customers:
Strategies: Blaze will create content themes for different seasons of your business, or direct people to specific content for lead generation
GEO: Blaze can help you rank highly on GPT/AI search results, just like Google via SEO
Video: Blaze will create and post AI-generated video content to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok
Paid Ads: Blaze will manage your ad spend across Meta, Google, and LinkedIn
Voice-first iOS App: Best of all, Autopilot will be available in native mobile formats, where you can chat with Blaze using just your voice
What This Means
Rolling out Autopilot has reminded me why I love building companies. It's not just about the technology—it's about methodically turning an ambitious vision into something people actually want to pay for.
The results prove that agentic marketing isn't just possible—it's what customers have been waiting for. A 53% conversion rate with 3x LTV and customers choosing multi-month commitments isn't just good product-market fit. It's validation of an entirely new category.
Every customer interaction has been data. Every bug report has been a gift. Every success story has been proof we're onto something big.
The future of marketing is agentic, and based on these results, that future is arriving faster than anyone expected—including us.
